I am a first-year PhD student in Economics and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University (a joint program at Heinz College and Tepper School of Business), focusing on environmental economics. My research explores the intersection of economics, public policy, and climate change. I received my M.Sc. in Economics from the Graduate School of Management and Economics at Sharif University of Technology. During my master’s studies, I examined the effects of rising temperatures on mortality in Iran. My career goal is to advance interdisciplinary research in sustainable development, contributing to policy solutions for environmental challenges.
